Both

A choreography of lines drawn on blank film, running vertically and changing their horizontal position to a greater or lesser extent. One line runs relatively straight, the other constantly splits into two implied lines and dances around the straight line in this doubling. Until they merge at the end. Or is there another way to read this simple, symbolically rich sequence? Does the second, doubled line possibly represent the 2 in the title, meaning that there are two dynamic lines dancing around a third, which in turn is not part of the counted quantity but functions as an external reference value? There is much to project onto this film, which not least also exhibits the process of projection, or rather: both of them – the psycho-apparative and the techno-apparative projection, both of which dance around each other in the cinema. (Drehli Robnik)
