Adams Ending by Richard Wilhelmer

Adam's Ending begins in a nuanced, light-footed way, as a play with allusions. We accompany two couples, first through the city, then on holiday and back again. One of them, Conrad (David Winter) and Carmen (Paula Kalenberg), is only just getting together (and quickly drifting apart again); for the other, Adam (Robert Stadlober) and Anna (Eva-Maria May), the close intimacy is just beginning to lead to the first signs of insecurity. Wilhelmer sets looks and situations in relation to one another in such a way that the characters' driving forces and motivations can be surmised. That's why you can't yet figure them out.
 Then, imperceptibly, the relationships become unbalanced. (Dominik Kamalzadeh)
