My artistic work revolves around themes of the built environment and urban living spaces, which are dealt with in different ways in the films selected for the program. Abstraction, narration and documentation are explored in an experimental approach. While in the animation Studio the spatial skeleton of one's own studio and e-mail messages become the starting point for a fragile space-time continuum, in 60 SECONDS IN THE COLORS OF MY SHIRT it is the passage of time and the colors of one's own shirt that form a fictitious diagrammatic curve. The cinematic concept for Tower House is based on the connecting structure of the staircase of Takamitsu Azuma's building of the same name (Tokyo, 1966). It becomes the directorial element through the circular panoramic shots, executed step by step. (Karl-Heinz Klopf)
