Katharina Bayer

* 1987, Austria

Born in 1987 in Gmunden. After completing her architecture degree at Graz University of Technology in 2012, she studied Fine Arts at Zurich University of the Arts, at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and currently in the Expanded Cinema class of Clemens von Wedemeyer and Mareike Bernien at the HGB Leipzig. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the SITE Galleries Chicago, the UG Folkwang Museum Essen, the Austrian Cultural Forum London and the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. Katharina Bayer lives as a freelance artist in Leipzig.
