Dario Azzellini

Dario Azzellini is a sociologist, author and documentary filmmaker. He lives in aracas and Berlin. He has worked and written extensively on the issue of workers’ control and self-government. He has done extensive research and has published in the areas of critical labor studies, politics of resistance, Latin American Studies, and war sociology. In the field of critical labor studies, his research has focused on workers’ self-organization and collective responses to precarious work conditions and workplace closure. Together with Oliver Ressler he has produced documentaries about Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution.
