Kino Da!

Filmed in "sync sound" on a spring-wound Bolex (with audio recorded on a consumer cassette player), a "zaumist" portrait of North Beach (San Francisco) Communist cafe poet and gentle comrade Jack Hirschman, editor of "The Artaud Anthology" (City Lights); an homage to the power of early Soviet films even as viewed on bad 16mm copies.
