Mai Thai (Mozart Minute 26)

One minute of film should be a source of pleasure, one minute of film about Mozart has to be. So little time for overflowing joy, emotion and genius. What would Mozart have enjoyed? Would he have thought karaoke was a good thing? Or would the idea of people with absolutely no musical talent warbling the Queen of the Night´s part have made his stomach churn? We don´t know. However I´ve read that, while in Prague, he was pleased to hear people singing his songs on the street. MAI THAI is meant to sing along to. It´s colorful, shot on Super 8, fast, at times loud and common. I´m pleased about that fact. It might have made the great master himself smile.
