Che bella è la vita

tirol, a mountain paradise when the sun is shining and the tourists are on the move: in as arbitrary a sequence as necessary, the found footage, a company of riflemen in traditional dress, the folk-dance group (...), checked material for shirts, wide-angle pans: the directors edits what the found material has to offer, and each contrast strengthens the story´s coherence (...): a verbal present which has been gnawed by alcohol: in the moment of the telling, the story falls apart, equally necessary and arbitrary. the result is schmaltz, a life as a constantly imagined memory.
